It comprises photo albums for Sunday Skates as well as members-only events.

When are pictures posted ?

The pictures appear in the gallery after a variable delay, anywhere between one and many weeks, depending on the availability of the assigned volunteers to :

1. collect, after the Skate, the pictures from the memory cards of our photographers (and sometimes it’s not easy to do right after the Skates, which means making some special meeting arrangements…),
2. perform some technical operations on all pictures (standardize format ant naming conventions, insert watermark…),
3. swift them out to reduce the number from sometimes more than 1,000 pictures to a more reasonable average of approx 250/Skate. This selection has both technical criteria (sharpness, lighting…) as well as contents (in principle, no photos of identifable policemen from the escort, no pictures that could obviously embarrass people or compromise their privacy…), and variety (of sites, of camera angles, of people…),
4. upload the whole collection to the servers.

Once published, the album is announced on our Facebook group.
Huge thanks are due to the voluntees who, week after week, undertake this important but somewhat tedious work, for your pleasure !

Privacy rights

By french law, pictures taken in public space do not require approval by the person photographed, as long as it does not infringe its dignity. But if you wish we remove publication of a picture where you are conspicuously recognizable, mail us (phototheque@rollers-coquillages.org).
Please do facilitate the operation by stating correct details ; picture naming convention adheres to the format :
year_month_day hour_minute_second-(author initials)-OriginalPhotoFilenale.JPG (e.g 2019_10_13 14_45_30-(XC)-P1400610 )

Requesting hi-res pictures

Conversely, if you wish to receive a few hi-resolution pictures, we can accomodate that too.
Pleas send mail to (phototheque@rollers-coquillages.org) with the names of the pictures you desire (according to the above-described naming format).  We will send you these pictures (with a variable delay).  Only constraints : you commit to not use these pictures for any commercial use, only personal and family use. Please do not request too many pictures.  And check your spam folder if they seem to not arrive…

Sales Conditions

All sales are exclusively on the partner site Spreadshirt, under the entire responsibility of this platform, who handles publicity, order management, making-to-order, billing, shipping, returns, client managmeent… It is our experience they are reliable and offer quality goods and services, but once again, if there should be any problem, it’s between you and them !
